For non-divers, this is a year-round destination. For divers, the best time is from October to May when manta rays are present at cleaning stations. For the very calmest water and best visibility, November to March is recommended.
The easiest way to get to Raja Ampat is to fly to Sorong either via Jakarta, Makassar, Manado or Ambon. There is no international direct flight to Sorong. To fly from Bali, you will need to make an overnight in Makassar and fly the next day to Sorong as early as 4 AM. For most of these connections, you can fly with Garuda, Lion, Batik or Sriwijaya on daily basis.
Apart from direct private boat transfer either by resort or other arrangements, regular public ferry from Sorong to Raja Ampat capital of Waisai is also available twice a day departing at 9 AM and 2 PM. It takes approximately 2 hours from Sorong to Waisai. For best convenience, air-conditioned VIP seat is also available.
As soon as you arrive in ferry terminal of Waisai, our staffs will meet, greet and escort you to our speed boat for transfer to Raja Ampat Dive Lodge. It takes approximately 40 minutes from Waisai to our resort in Mansuar Island.

Raja Ampat is tropical. Though malaria rate is currently low, yet being cautious is always better. Using mosquito repellant and keep your door close from 5 to 8 PM is recommended. For more serious preventive action, though not always necessary, should you require to take anti-malaria medication like Doxycycline, please do consult to your doctor before deciding.
It is IDR 700,000 (US$ 65) per person (subject to change). We can assist you settle the fee by sending us passport holder's name, number and nationality.

We do have phone signal though not always at its best. TELKOMSEL operator works best at the island.
Free Wi-Fi is available at several main areas of the resort. SIM card connection is best at jetty area.
24-hour electricity of 220V supply is available at the resort. Two-rounded-pin plug applies.
For safe and enjoyable diving in Raja Ampat, having minimum 50 logs is best recommended as strong current sometimes can be an issue in some sites. Yet if your log is less than 50, we may arrange special guiding to sites with less current and other risk-related issues.
As precaution during new normal, we do not rent dive equipment. Please do bring your own.
Raja Ampat water is warm at average 27 – 30C+ (80 – 86F+). So 3-mm wetsuit is recommended or even skinsuit is usually fine.
Nitrox is available with additional charge.
Though we do provide at resort, yet it is always more convenient to have them on your own.
Yes, free-covid documentation is mandatory to have and show. Please obtain prior to your holiday.
The nearest hospital is located in Waisai approximately 40-minute boat ride from our resort. Hyperbaric Chamber is also available in this hospital. For more serious emergency, we will take you to hospital in Sorong approximately 2-hour speed boat ride.
To catch first ferry from Waisai to Sorong at 9 AM, we will transfer you from resort to Waisai at 7 AM. It takes approximately 40 minutes from our resort to Waisai and 2 hours by ferry from Waisai to Sorong. If your flight is earlier than the above time frame, we recommend that you leave the resort one day earlier and spend an overnight in Sorong.
